Success is achieving your goals and for this you have to use not only your normal abilities but you must access your Mind Power. And you can do it in just four steps. Goal setting and achieving made easy. Obviously the best way to use our Mind Power is Hypnosis.
What is Success?
Depends on your goal setting. What are your goals in life? Success is achieving your goals, whatever they are. You are the only one who can decide the real meaning of the word Success. It can be about money, or about family, feelings, being recognized as successful by others, going on TV, whatever. For me having Success means having enough money to live without worries, having my family and friends around, and helping others with my articles and my job. I've always thought that there is no better way of earning a living than by helping others to make their lives better. But for you it can be something completely different, and this is perfectly fine. Life likes variety.
Goal Setting and Achieving Basics
As a common definition we can say that Success means achieving a goal which for you represents Success, whatever it is. There are many ways to do this and each one of us can find his/her own right way. Usually I go for the simple way, following the Universal Truth that “Once things get too complicated everything can go wrong.” This clearly applies to goal setting.
Keep in mind that you are the only one who can prevent yourself from reaching your goals, just like you are the only one that can say "Now I've achieved Success". As someone else said “We are the ones who build up the bars of our prison”; and this is certainly true. The liable one for it is that part of our mind, described in my other hub “Our Mind: Knowledge is Power”, that any time we want to do something begins to say “You aren't so good”, or “You can't arrive that far”, "Your goal setting is too ambitious", or something like that; even if it's perfectly in our possibilities.
This is not made really against us, it's a kind of wrongly used safety mechanism to prevent us from sufferings or delusions. Problems arrive when it's too strong and prevent us from doing anything. In a certain sense our mind doesn't like changes too much, it usually follows the rule that “If you leave the old road for the new you know what you leave but not what you find”. This is true, but we can't always stay still. There is a solution though, and it is having an agreement between our conscious and our subconscious mind that achieving our goals will make our lives better; then if that little voice still goes on disturbing ourselves the Hand Clap makes wonders to make our mind clean, clear and ready to go.
The Four Steps to Have Success
These are the four steps to your Success:
- A crystal clear defined and reasonable goal: be clear with your goal setting as if your goals aren't reasonable both for your conscious and subconscious mind there is no way you can achieve the desired results, so you need a clear goal, in order to know when you've achieved it, and reasonable or your mind won't put any effort in achieving it.
- Trust between you and your subconscious mind: you must be trustful that your subconscious mind has the powers and abilities to help you achieve your goal, and your subconscious mind must be trustful that you won't spend its energies for silly tasks. If you've already applied what's written in my other hubs than you're already beyond this.
- Letting work your subconscious mind while remaining focused on the desired final result: when the first two steps are established then you have only to let your subconscious mind do one of its duties, that is fulfilling your desires. Of course you must remain focused on it so that your subconscious keeps working toward it.
- Action: this is pretty self-explanatory as if you just "dream" and do nothing then nothing is what you will achieve.
To explain better this concept I usually use this example: have you ever played the game when with your first two fingers you have to catch a banknote hold by a friend when he let it fall? Unless you are born with the reflexes of a snake it's pretty difficult, well, it was for me until I learned the trick. Put you fingers in position and focus on the banknote, imagine that you have caught it and that it's already between you fingers, don't think about movements as this is your subconscious' duty, catch the banknote. Success!
Goal-Trust-Focus-Action.
Warning: Don't get too obsessed by having to reach your goals. The journey to your Success should be a pleasurable one. Be trustful and allow things to happen.
Goal Setting and Achieving with Hypnosis
Desired outcome: to be able to find ways to achieve your Goal.
Begin with a general goal; later on add your own target between brackets like having "5.000 $ in my bank account", or "happy family", "earn a living as a writer"..... Start small and then go on with bigger goals.
First Hypnosis INDUCTION then:
Say to yourself:
Dear subconscious, I KNOW that if we work together everything can be accomplished. I KNOW that if we really want to achieve something then we can find many ways to reach our goal. And this is wonderful because we have the possibility to achieve Success, and this will surely improve our life for the better. And I have a deep TRUST in your ability to find the best, simplest and fastest way to achieve lasting results. So FROM NOW ON I want to establish a new, permanent directive that when we decide to reach a goal we can always find the most suitable and safe way to achieve it.
NOW, I KNOW I CAN ALWAYS FIND THE BEST, SIMPLEST AND SAFEST WAY TO REACH MY GOAL (OF....).
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO FIND ALWAYS THE BEST, SIMPLEST AND SAFEST WAY TO REACH MY GOAL (OF....).
Repeat the above two sentences three times.
FROM NOW ON I CAN ALWAYS FIND THE BEST, SIMPLEST AND SAFEST WAY TO REACH MY GOAL (OF....).
Repeat three times.
IMAGINE THE ACHIEVED OUTCOME AND FEEL HOW YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.
DAILY REPETITION: USE THE I CAN SENTENCE: I CAN ALWAYS FIND THE BEST, SIMPLEST AND SAFEST WAY TO REACH MY GOAL (OF....).
Begin with the generalized sentence, then after you have become proficient with it add the specific goal (OF....).
Conclusion
Here it is one way to use Hypnosis for goal setting and achieving your desired outcome. This especially in these hard times, requires a lot of creativity, some luck, consistent efforts and some Motivation. What you have to keep in mind is that since you decide your goal then only you can prevent yourself from reaching it. And if you trust your Mind Power you'll surely find a way to achieve your goals. Just remember the water when it has to go downhill, if it finds an obstacle it just moves around it and goes on toward its destination.
Success Factors:
GOAL-TRUST-FOCUS-ACTION.
Crystal clear goal setting, trust that your Mind Power can get you there, focus on your desired outcome, act to achieve your goals.

i am a big believer in the power of the mind, and positive thinking. i mean, we can get blue but then we realize if we can think ourselves into feeling bad, we can think ourselves into feeling good too. i have listened to subliminal self-hypnosis tapes in the past to help me find my center and feel calm when i used to suffer from anxiety, and that stuff really works! i love the images in this hub too, especially the nature ones. nice hub-rating it UP.
To me success is family and friends with enough money to live comfortably. Good hub!
Hypnodude: Now that I am a baby boomer, I can look back and see how the definition of success has changed for me, its part of my own growth. In my 20's and 30's it was getting ahead in my corporate career and finding a mate; nowdays, it love, health, family and sufficient money to be comfortable which I have achieved for the most part, and oh, yes, publishing at least 3 books that help others, yup, this is what I want, so will use your technique. Yes!:)
